Training
With many years of experience working mainly with working cocker spaniels and labradors here a Rokeby we give our dogs either the basic necessities to suit our life-style, or tailor made gundog training.
3/4 Trained - Definition
Dogs are KC registered, docked and dew clawed, flead, wormed, vaccinated, fully socialised with live stock, ducks, geese, chickens and wildfowl, crate trained, sit and stay, recalling and stopping on the whistle, retrieving cold game and an introduction to hunting.

Rue (Dominique’s Girl)
Rue is a young lively bitch who loves being out in the field working she is very stylish and covers the ground gracefully always eager to get a retrieve !
Jet (Harry’sAngel)

Jet is another one of our bitches who also loves to be out in the field working alongside rue and the rest of the team not afraid of any rough cover and a bundle of energy.
Heidi (Hawsbeck Heidi)
Heidi is our longest serving worker here at Rokeby who at 10 years old still needs no motivation to get out the door and into the dog box for a day out to show the young dogs how it is done. Unfortunately Heidi is now retired and moved into the house but what a dog she has been and still is to us.

Our Dogs
Taj is a lovely black and white dog with a nice square head on him. He is a lively little dog who covers any ground with ease. Taj’s bloodlines are second to none from the well respected Cynhinfa sporting dogs club
Frank (Pickupmoor Rascal)
Frank is another one of our veterans here at Rokeby who has an excellent marking eye and nose on him sired by FTCH (Rollafields Redbud At Naxshivan)

​Drake is a very exciting cocker spaniel who is proving exceptionally capable, as I would expect from his pedigree.
He is an absolute pleasure to work, with a fantastic temperament and is invaluable in the shooting field.
